Protect your brand in Rwanda and beyond

Scammers look for the names you haven't registered yet. We map your brand across the .rw namespace, Africa's other national domains, the global extensions and the lookalikes, then register the ones that matter in one portfolio billed in RWF.

What an unprotected name costs

Registering a name before a problem is cheap. Recovering it afterwards takes time, lawyers and lost customers.

Typosquatting

Misspelt versions of your name catch customers who mistype, then show ads or malware.

Phishing and fake shops

A lookalike domain sends emails in your name or takes MTN MoMo payments for goods you never ship.

Blocked expansion

You're ready to launch in a new market and find your name there already taken.

Lapsed renewals

A forgotten domain expires and is re-registered by someone watching for exactly that.

Three layers of coverage

Most brands don't need every extension. Start with the highest-risk layer and stop where it makes sense.

1. Core

.co.rw and .com: the names Rwandan customers type first.

2. Markets

The national domain in every country you sell in or plan to, such as .co.tz or .co.ke, plus .africa.

3. Defensive

Misspellings, hyphenated versions and other .rw zones a scammer could use convincingly.

How a review works

  1. Tell us the brand

Company, product or trademark names, and the markets you care about.

  2. We map the gaps

We check availability across .rw, other African ccTLDs, global extensions and likely lookalikes.

  3. You approve a plan

A recommended list by layer, with RWF registration and renewal prices where published.

  4. We register and manage

Approved names go into one portfolio with renewal reminders.

Brand protection questions

Do I need to register every extension?

No. Most brands are well covered by their core names, the national domains of the markets they sell in, and a few high-risk lookalikes. The review ranks names by risk.

Does registering a domain protect my trademark?

No. A domain registration doesn't create trademark rights, and a trademark doesn't reserve domains. The trademark gives you legal standing; the domains stop others using the name online.

Someone already holds my brand name. What can I do?

If it was registered in bad faith, a dispute process may apply: the UDRP for most generic domains, or the .rw dispute policy for Rwanda domains. We'll point you to the right one; a lawyer can advise on the case.

Can you register names in markets where I have no company?

Some zones accept foreign registrants; others need a local presence or documents. The review notes which of your target markets have requirements.

How is the portfolio billed?

Each domain is billed at its standard price, in RWF where published. Every renewal is listed in one client area with reminders before expiry.
